OUR TERROIR & OUR EXPERTISE ORGANIC VINEYARD IN THE HAUT-VAR
Our vineyard in the Haut-Var is located in the northern part of the Dracénie, making us one of the northernmost estates in the Côtes de Provence appellation.
Our family estate benefits from a naturally beautiful terroir that we strive to reflect in our different wine selections.
We prioritize the production of strong-identity red and white wines, but we also produce the rosés that are so beloved in Provence.
OUR NATURAL AND PRESERVED ENVIRONMENT
Located between 220 and 350 meters above sea level, amidst cirques of hills and 120 hectares of preserved nature, our 30 hectares of vines benefit from an exceptional environment.
Converted to organic farming and winemaking since 2008, we strive to work in the most natural way possible.
With the ongoing goal of further preserving our terroir, soil, and the quality of our wines, we are currently transitioning to Biodynamics and will be testing the principles of agroforestry.
MICRO-CLIMATE AND GRAPE VARIETIES
The significant temperature fluctuations between day and night allow for the late and even ripening of our grapes, enhancing the finesse and elegance of our white and rosé wines, as well as the power and balance of our red wines.
Our soil, clay-limestone, permeable and stony, provides the full aromatic and gustatory expression of our Provençal grape varieties. Our vineyard cultivates 7 of the 11 grape varieties authorized by the AOC Côtes de Provence: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon for reds; Rolle and Clairette for whites.
Converted to organic farming and winemaking since 2008, we are committed to working in the most natural way possible.
OUR EXPERTISE BETWEEN MODERNITY AND TRADITION
We prefer to encourage quality over quantity, limiting our production to around 40hl/ha, thus promoting full ripeness of the grapes and a perfect expression of our healthy, natural, and historic terroir.
We limit inputs both in the vineyard and in the cellar by reducing the use of yeasts and the amount of sulfur in our wines, well below the standards of the Ecocert organic certification.
In all our ranges, from mechanized wines to fully handcrafted wines, we aim to highlight the authenticity of our terroir by offering wines of the highest quality.
